The Best Box of Chocolates in Colombia— We did it! Again.

The Best Box of Chocolates in Colombia— We did it! Again.

A stunning box of Colombian chocolates over a dark backdrop

We’ve always been proud to call our Origin Box the best box of chocolates in Colombia. And while that might sound like a bold claim, it’s one we’ve never taken lightly. It’s the result of years of tasting, testing, and collaborating — and maybe more late-night debates than we’d care to admit.

But here’s the truth. Making the best box of chocolates in Colombia isn’t just about crafting something delicious. It’s about capturing the diversity, beauty, and spirit of Colombia itself — and that’s exactly what we set out to do— again!

Introducing Origin & Tradition — More Than Just an Update

We didn’t just tinker around the edges. We poured ourselves into this one. The result? Origin & Tradition: Chocolate & Coffee Tasting Kit — a refined, elevated, and more immersive version of the kit you already loved.

This isn’t a repeat. It’s the next chapter in our story. Every decision, from ingredient selection to design, was about creating a richer, more meaningful tasting journey. Our goal? To let you experience Colombia — its landscapes, its flavors, its soul — without ever needing a passport.

What’s New? (Spoiler: A lot)

3 Bonbons cut open and showing the exotic Colombian fillings

The Chocolate Bonbons — Our Pride and Joy

Let’s be clear — we didn’t fully reinvent the wheel here. Our bonbons are still made with fully traceable, ethically sourced, award-winning, single-origin Colombian chocolate. Still hand-painted. Still finished with a delicate touch of 24K gold leaf. Some things were simply too good to change.

What did change? The fillings. We leaned deeper into Colombia’s edible treasures, reworking our recipes to highlight ingredients that feel both unexpected and unforgettable. Gulupa (Colombian passion fruit), corozo (a native wild berry), caramelized Vanilla planifolia bean, and local highland honey — these are the flavors doing the talking now. The result? A richer, more vibrant tasting experience that takes you even further into Colombia’s biodiversity — and straight into your next favorite bite.

The Coffee — A New Partner, A Perfect Match

For this edition, we partnered with Café Quindío, one of Colombia’s most beloved coffee producers — a shift from our previous collaborator. Why the change? Simply put, Café Quindío gave us more to play with. Their broader portfolio allowed us to select the perfect coffee to pair with this round of bonbons — and after plenty of tasting (and a few too many cups along the way), we found it.

A cup of Quindio Coffee over a stunning box of Magno hand painted Chocolates

This particular coffee comes from the lush mountains of Salento, in the heart of Quindío. It’s carefully cultivated under ideal conditions — mountain breezes, fertile soils, and just the right touch of Colombian magic. The beans undergo a traditional washed process, including a slow fermentation and sun-drying on raised African beds, all designed to preserve their natural purity and coax out delicate aromas. The result? A coffee with a soft vanilla-like fragrance, bright acidity, and a smooth, medium body — subtle enough to complement each chocolate, but complex enough to shine on its own.

Oh, and there’s more of it this time. Instead of three small samples, you’ll now get enough to make up to 9 cups — so you can actually savor, pair, and even play around with the combinations without feeling like you have to ration every sip.

Why Change What Worked?

Because Colombia deserves it. Because chocolate and coffee evolve, just like the people who make them. And because when you love something as much as we do, you don’t stop at good enough.

We wanted Origin & Tradition to feel like a journey — an invitation to taste Colombia’s landscapes and traditions through each bite and sip. Less about showing off. More about showing up fully, with intention and care.

A Taste of Origin & Tradition

So what exactly makes Origin & Tradition still the best box of chocolates in Colombia? We’ll let you decide, but here’s a peek:

  • Beige Moon | 70% Arauca Chocolate | Filled with a creamy blend of gulupa and honey.

  • Turquoise Moon | 53% Tumaco Chocolate | Caramelized Vanilla planifolia — rich, smooth, and comforting.

  • Wine Red Moon | 65% Sierra Nevada Chocolate | Wild berries (corozo, hibiscus, and strawberry) — a bright, tart celebration of Colombia’s biodiversity.

  • Café Quindío Coffee | One premium serving, enough to fully savor every chocolate pairing without running dry.

Still the Best?

We like to think so. But more importantly, we want to hear what you think!

This new edition is our way of sharing Colombia’s essence with you — through chocolate, coffee, and a story worth tasting. Whether you’ve been with us since the first edition or are just discovering us now, we can’t wait for you to experience what’s next.
