Despite the name, Members Only is open to the public, and that's exactly the kind of place it is: one that sounds exclusive but turns out to be one of the more welcoming and genuinely interesting bars in Cartagena. Tucked into the ground floor of Townhouse Boutique Hotel, the vibe is speakeasy-style, candlelit, and moody. Think New York jazz club dropped into the Caribbean. The concept was created to give Cartagena's young local musicians a proper stage, and it shows. Live jazz runs most nights, burlesque shows appear on Fridays and Saturdays, and the entertainment lineup rotates enough that no two visits feel the same. The house band MO-Town was formed specifically for this bar and is the city's only dedicated jazz band. Good cocktails, intimate atmosphere, and the kind of night out that doesn't look like anything else in Cartagena.
